Salmon is a wonderful source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, Vitamins A, D, B6, B, E, and it also has significant amounts of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus and zinc!

It is, however, very important to consume only wild salmon, and not farmed, to avoid potential antibiotics, growth hormones, pesticides and/or GMOs.  Good news, Alaskan Sockeye salmon is not allowed to be farmed.

I love cooking my salmon this way, because it¬†is loaded with delicious flavor, and is never¬†overcooked. ¬†It’s¬†by far my most favorite way of consuming the healthiest fish on the planet. ¬†My kids really love it too!
