dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation

The dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation is dōTERRA International’s registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The organization is committed to improving lives through partnering with organizations that offer hope to millions around the world. Healing Hands seeks to bring healing and hope to the world, for lives free of disease and poverty, and to ultimately empower impoverished communities with the tools needed to become self-reliant. dōTERRA International, LLC provides for all overhead and administrative costs of the dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation, ensuring that 100 percent of all donations go directly to those receiving aid.

The Healing Hands Foundation has partnered with:

    • Days for Girls – Days for Girls was founded in 2008 to create a more dignified, free, and educated world through access to lasting feminine hygiene solutions. They seek to help women and girls discover their potential and self-worth. Women and girls in the program are taught that they are equal participants and agents of social change and are given opportunities to thrive, grow, and contribute to their communities’ betterment while ensuring quality, sustainable feminine hygiene. My daughter and I were able to participate in a Days for Girls project at the doTERRA Corporate Headquarters in October 2015. We were two of hundreds of volunteers that helped create the parts for and assembled over 1000 packets for girls in Africa. It was an incredible experience to learn more about this incredible organization and to help girls the age of my daughter that are a world away and have had no means to care for their feminine hygiene.

    • Operation Underground Railroad – This organization is dear to my heart and is one that Modern Wellness supports outside of doTERRA. I always knew that there was sex slavery but it wasn’t until a few years ago that the light of child sex slavery was shown on this disgusting practice. OUR was founded in 2013 with the soul purpose of rescuing children from this horrible industry. They’ve gathered the world’s experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.’s Underground Jump Team consists of former CIA, Navy SEALs, and Special Ops operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world. Once the victims are rescued, a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery and rehabilitation for the survivors begins. No child deserves this kind of life and I’m grateful to be able to help support such a worthy cause!

  • Mentors International – A charitable foundation offering a transformational program of mentoring, business training, and financial services to impoverished entrepreneurs. Mentors provides start-up support, training, operational funding, and loan capital for the partner organizations. Over 3.6 million entrepreneurs are now enjoying the sweetness of prosperity. They have decent housing. Their children are in school. They have at least two meals a day where one had been their norm. Nearly $60 million has been loaned through the micro-lending program with a 96% historical repayment rate.
  • Choice Humanitarian – Partners with rural communities where villagers live on less than $1.90 a day. The CHOICE Humanitarian Model of Leadership Development empowers rural communities to create their own vision out of poverty.

In addition to the above listed partners doTERRA has also donated resources to several other organizations and causes.

Here are some of my favorite projects and causes that doTERRA has donated to via the Healing Hands Foundation.
